Wandalong Project, Biodiverse Reforestation, Australia
The Wandalong property is a 4,504 hectare biodiverse reforestation project located in the northern wheatbelt of the Southwest Australia ecoregion. Positioned within the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor, Wandalong will enhance the Corridor, linking the Mallee Nature Reserve and Wandana Nature Reserve, as well as eventually connecting to the Greenough River.
This nature-based Australian Carbon Credit Unit (ACCU) project is legally protected for 100 years and addresses climate action through carbon sequestration.
This project aims to safeguard the area’s existing remnant vegetation and maintain its biodiversity and overall health. It involves establishing permanent plantings of a mix of native tree species – all local to the area – on land that was previously used for agricultural purposes and is no longer able to be reliably cropped.
Firm pricing to undertake any regulated emissions units transaction with Carbon Neutral is only available to wholesale clients (as defined in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth.). ACCU and CER units are regulated emissions units. Carbon Neutral Pty Ltd (ABN 42 164 635 769) holds Australian Financial Services Licence 451004.
While we do not serve retail clients in regulated emission unit products, we offer Voluntary Carbon Market products from Gold Standard, Verra and other globally recognised standards.

-
500 t+Restore degraded agricultural land and create a biodiverse habitat
This project will transform degraded agricultural land into a thriving native ecosystem, strengthening biodiversity within the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor and protecting remnant vegetation. By establishing permanent plantings of locally endemic species, the project will reconnect vital habitats between the Mallee and Wandana Nature Reserves and extend ecological linkages toward the Greenough River. This initiative enhances habitat connectivity, supports native wildlife, improves soil and landscape resilience and contributes to long-term carbon sequestration, safeguarding the region’s environmental health and biodiversity for future generations.
