Lennox Capital Partners is a founder owned and led Funds Management business. Lennox recognises that the ESG performance of companies in which it invests are relevant to the value, performance and reputation of the investments that are made on behalf of our clients. At Lennox we are committed to making responsible investment decisions as part of our investment strategies.
Lennox believes that ESG is integral to our investment process and has formed part of our investment strategy since its inception. This approach aligns naturally with our longer term investment horizon and ideally leads to positive, sustainable outcomes for all stakeholders. ESG factors are explicitly assessed as part of our investment research and superior ESG outcomes are targeted when constructing the portfolio. Lennox also takes an active approach to improving the ESG outcomes of companies it invests in through engagement with both management and board members.
As tangible evidence of the positive impact this approach delivers over time, the Lennox Australian Small Companies Fund has a significantly lower carbon intensity than the benchmark per the data from MSCI. The benchmark being 230.4T CO2E per $M sales versus Lennox' portfolio of 78.9T CO2E per $M sales.
Lennox is proud to announce that we have been awarded an A rating for our Overall Stre=ategy and Governance approach to responsible investment, by the UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI).
Lennox Capital Partners is also proud to be a signatory for the Net Zero Asset Managers initiative. By becoming a signatory, Lennox commits to working with investor networks, companies and clients to support the goal of net zero emissions by 2050 or sooner.
In addition to working with companies to lower their own carbon footprint, we have worked with Carbon Neutral to assess our own operational footprint and to offset this to become carbon neutral as a business.
