Carbon Neutral is offering the opportunity to be a part of Australia’s largest biodiverse, reforestation carbon sink.

For over a decade, one of our core aims has been to restore land stretching 200 km across Western Australia to grow and develop the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor. We are incredibly proud that we have managed to secure many properties and plant over thirty million trees and shrubs. The carefully planned systems and processes that we undertake result in large areas that have plantings across all of the most appropriate land within the properties. We then undertake the steps to protect the plantings by securing 100 year covenants. This guarantees that the trees can grow and sequester carbon and in turn, help in the fight against the climate crisis, as well as improve biodiversity in one of the world’s global biodiversity hotspots.

When our work is complete on a property, we can then pass that on to any interested parties to own the land, and Carbon Neutral have reached that stage with one of our earliest planting sites

Terra Grata is a freehold title of 1,641 hectares (4,054 acres) of which 983 hectares (2,428 acres) has been planted to trees, with the remainder of the property being beautiful remnant bush land.

Terra Grata is not a property for the serious farmer as all the vegetation is to remain unspoilt under the 100 year covenant. However, it is the ideal location for people who have a passion for the Australian bush. Through Carbon Neutral’s careful planning, the environment is as close to original Western Australian bushland as you could hope for.

We see it as a rural idyll for people that want to be unencumbered by the relentlessness of the daily grind. A truly unique opportunity to escape to the bush. For further information on opportunities to purchase this property please visit our commercial real estate partner’s listing here.
