The Ningxia Xiangshan Wind Farm Project is a large-scale renewable energy initiative located in Zhongwei City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, China.
Harnessing the region’s wind resources, the project generates renewable electricity for the Northwest Power Grid via the Ningxia Power Grid, reducing reliance on conventional fossil fuel-based electricity generation.
With 265 wind turbines and an installed capacity of 397.5 MW, the project generates approximately 950,000 MWh of renewable electricity annually, contributing to greenhouse gas emissions reductions and supporting China’s transition towards a more diverse energy mix.
