Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced digital marketing and communications professional – with a passion for the green economy – to help drive our growth strategy in Australia and overseas.

This multi-faceted role is perfect for someone who would like to be part of a team supporting business to address two of the planets most critical environmental issues – climate change and biodiversity loss.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Design and build brand content and product campaigns across the eCommerce website to deliver growth targets and increase conversion
• Applying UX principles and SEO for a B2B audience
• Monitor and report on web channel performance against targets
• Provide engaging and compelling promotional collateral and external documentation across all touch points including client liaison to guide their messaging, website, EDMs, social media and external features,
• Translating complex issues/technical information into simple messages in a variety of formats
• Review and manage the Marketing Plan and Brand Communication Strategy
• Provide marketing support and solutions to the Senior Management team
• Manage any marketing staff and external suppliers

Essential Selection Criteria

• A commitment to positive environmental and climate change solutions
• Proven experience with a minimum of five (5) years in B2B marketing in a business environment
• Experience in customer liaison through all forms of communication
• Extensive experience in a digital product management/website management
• Strong competency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop or similar essential), MS Office Suite and Mailchimp
• Exceptional written communications skills
• Experience with Google Analytics
• Experience in all Social Media platforms
• Experience in Web Analytics including the collection, reporting, and analysis of website data
• High level of professionalism and great work ethic with a focus on quality and attention to detail
• A creative and proactive approach to work

Desirable Attributes

• Google Adwords
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS

The role

We are seeking expressions of interest from individuals looking to learn client-side marketing and communications. 

You will work closely with the Digital Marketing and Communications Manager to support;

• creation and scheduling of social media posts
• EDMs
• curation of content
• advertising campaigns including Google Ads
• internal communications
• media releases
• research and analysis.

The 3 month internship will suit bright and enthusiastic individuals interested in pursuing a career in marketing.

Essential criteria

• Currently undertaking marketing or communications related studies or have prior experience in a similar role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• An understanding of different social media and content platforms.
• Ability to research and develop reports on findings.
• Competant user of Microsoft Office – Word and Powerpoint.

Desirable criteria

• Ability to navigate and manage content on websites.
• Previous experience writing blog articles.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
• Some knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.

To gain the most from the opportunity you will need to be able to commit to a minimum of 2 half days per week over 3 months. There may be a possibility of extending the contract for the right candidate.
